Quit Smoking 4 Life

Smoking is one of the major killers of modern life.

No one can seriously doubt the harmful effects of smoking. Yet even when we know it is killing us, we keep on smoking.

Why? Because...

  • It is hard to quit smoking because tobacco is physically addictive.
  • It is hard to quit smoking because tobacco is psychologically addictive.
  • And it is hard to quit smoking because it is a social habit.

You Can Quit Smoking!

The Quit Smoking 4 Life website is here to give you information and encouragement. We are not pushing any particular product or method, because what works for one person may not work for another.

Instead, we examine the various ways to quit smoking and let you make your own choices. We know how hard it is to quit smoking and want you to succeed in this life-affirming task.

Don't Give Up

You may have tried to quit smoking in the past, but failed for one reason or another. That's OK! At least you have shown your desire to give up the smoking habit.

Most people make several attempts to quit before they finally succeed. If you go back to the smoking habit, don't get discouraged. Chalk it up to experience and know that your next attempt is more likely to succeed.

When you are trying to quit smoking, enlist the help of family and friends. It's possible to quit smoking on your own but having the moral support of the people around you makes a big difference.

In the next section we will examine the various ways to stop smoking. >>

It has been 2 days since i have not had a cigarette. I wouldn't say i have completely quit yet. Today is my second smoke free day and i have been experiencing frequent panic attacks and constipation.
I would like to know how long it would take for these panic attacks to stop happening to me

I'm getting over it, finally, after 2 months without a smoke, I went the whole day yesterday without thinking about smoking.
